rearview for a second thinking about blindspot and someone three cars ahead of me made a left turn from the right lane. Cars 2 and 3 were able to stop in time, but I wasn't. Car 2 left skid marks. Even the people I hit told the cop it wasn't my fault, but nevertheless it was because I rear-ended them. I was going maybe 3 mph over speed limit in traffic. That's my definition of being wild and reckless. If I gave the impression of being a careless driver I was trying to be flippant and humorous. If we're getting into stereotypes, I've probably been a lot more careful than the average male Z-driver. And yes sir, I know how fine this car is. I know every inch of her, because I've about washed the paint off and cleaned the wax out of the seams with q-tips and picked pebbles out of the tire treads with my girl fingernails. I've wanted one since they used to have that Z commercial about driving to Europe. And not just any Z. This was the right one. I know I messed her up, and nobody is being harder on me than I am myself, so please don't assume I was being completely careless. "Daddy" didn't buy my car, and I'm not a teenager who takes things for granted. It's totally out of character for me to get so obsessed with a material thing anyway. Maybe that's my lesson.
